BIOGRAPHY
Music is the way
Born in Havana, in 1962. He began his musical studies at the Manuel Saumell Conservatory, where he graduated as a piano teacher at the elementary level in 1977.
In 1983 he graduated at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, where he obtained the title Instrumentalist Piano Teacher and in 1987 he graduated as a Bachelor of Music, with a specialty in piano, at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) of Havana.
In 1988, he appeared as harpsichordist for the Chamber Orchestra of Havana and baritone of the National Choir of Cuba, in concert halls in Europe, such as The Palau de la Música in Barcelona, The Convent of Montserrat in Catalonia, the Tchaikowski Conservatory of Moscow, among others.
He has done extensive research on the Old Yucatan Trova and Old Cuban Trova, which allowed him to rescue works of Mexican and Cuban composers, which over time had been forgotten. He also continued with piano work focused on the work of maestro Ernesto Lecuona, who started his uncle the great Cuban pianist Huberal Herrera.
